It’s no secret that RomComs are one of the most profitable genres in the movie industry. (Hello, Jennifer Aniston’s career!) Oftentimes, however, they’re looked down upon for being low-brow and cheesy. But this Valentine’s Day, Script Mother is cheesin’ it up!

So without further adieu, we present to you Script Mother’s Movies to Love this Valentine’s Day!

  1. “You’ve Got Mail”

This classic from the pen of legendary Nora Ephron will make you laugh and cry just as hard as it did when it was originally released in 1998. There’s a reason Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan made multiple movies together—they’ve got some serious chemistry. (Plus, if you can’t think of what to get your Valentine this year, take a hint from Kathleen Kelly and try out a bouquet of freshly sharpened pencils.)


2. “Crazy Rich Asians”

Based upon the bestselling novel by Kevin Kwan, “Crazy Rich Asians” made waves last year as one of the highest grossing feature films with an Asian cast. Not only does the movie champion diversity, it teaches us to follow our hearts. And isn’t that what Valentine’s Day is all about?
